Our IP55 (Outdoor) wall housings were designed for industrial applications. They are based on the EN 60529 compliant IP55 protection class and are thus protected against dust ingress and water infiltration. The ventilation units and filter internals were designed on the basis of the protection class IP54. All wall housings have the 3-point locking system with lockable swing handle and insulated cable inputs. Integrated air filter housing to fresh air inlet (protection against water and dust ingress-gem. IP54).
Application areas are open areas that are exposed to the environmental effects (rain, dust, hail, snow, splashing water).
